Running from July to September this year, it was the first event of its kind to be held in Hawes. Shops, the library and even the doctors’ surgery took part, featuring favourite books in their windows. Visitors were able to tick off titles as they searched for books on the list. 
I was delighted when the Funky Pheasant asked if they could feature my books in their window. The event has been such a success that the shop will continue to be the place to find Dr Mills Sanderson and DI Miriam Abbott in Hawes in future.
